My bosses have just spent the past hour printing out photos of all the staff from various Facebook accounts, have cut them out and taped them onto one of the fake plant/tree's in the office. I am currently taped on the tree with kitten ears and a post-it note on my shirt saying 'special'. We have all dubbed the tree the 'friendship tree'.

For the past couple of days I've been watching Spaced and if Simon Pegg ever came up to me and asked to bare 20 children for him I would. I mean, I would have before watching this, but yeah... :P

I discovered something wonderful over the weekend. There is a place, a place that is so magical and wondrous that it's almost too much to take in. In this place there are books, there are DVD's, there are computers, there are big squishy chairs and you know what they let you do? They let you borrow the books and the DVD's for free! I KNOW! It's amazing and just.... I have no idea who thought of it, but they are a genius.

Actually I just went down to our local district library and signed up for a new card there. :P I haven't been in it since they rebuilt the place and it's really nice. I got a couple of books and even put some one hold (I like how you can just log into your library account and 'shop' for books now). I cannot find my copy of the 3rd Sookie Stackhouse book and it's driving me nuts, it's still packed away in a box somewhere. Rather than buying another copy I just reserved it when I was there this weekend.

The weekend was nice, I didn't really do much cuz I have no life except go get a new card and I got a new pair of shoes (50% off! \o/) and that was about it.

( Some thoughts on season two of True Blood )

This week is a short week for me. We are getting Friday off, even though Canada Day is on Wednesday. It kinda sucks, but at the same time we all agreed we'd rather have a long weekend rather than one random day off in the middle of the week. That and 99% of our business is done with the US so since a lot of the people we deal with will be taking Friday off in lieu of the 4th it made sense.

This morning when I got to work I was walking to the front door and it suddenly hit me that I forgot my computer at home. *facepalm* I can't do any work without it, so thankfully mum was still in the parking lot (sneaking a cigarette to boot--bad mommy) and I had to run in to tell my boss I had to leave again. His reply, "welcome to Monday". Very true.

Mum and I have been watching Merlin on NBC. I tried downloading the show awhile ago, but something screwed up and I never did finish downloading it. So we're just watching it on Sunday's (and we're totally convinced that Arthur and Merlin are totally doing it). Anyway last night they had a preview for next week where Lancelot shows up for the first time and this is what my mum said:

Mum: Hello Lancy! I see your Lance... and I like it, A Lot.
Me: XD XD XD XD

My darling, lovely, beautiful elvensapphire, I got the DVD today and I totally bawled when I opened it. I blame my hormones for that, but never the less thank you very, very much. *MUAH*

Currently as I type this there is a raccoon in the kitchen eating the left over cat food. I'm sitting on the couch too lazy to get up and yeah. It won't leave even though I'm less than 15 feet away from it asking it to please leave.

My mum had to work a bit later than me, so while I'm waiting for her to pick me up I'm currently pimping out my desk with pictures of Star Trek. I shall bring my camera in tomorrow and take pictures. :D

I got my tupplur up yesterday! Tuppler = the blind I bought for my room from Ikea. I can now take the pillows off of my windows to block the light, now I can sleep in darkness. Sweet darkness, yesss, preciousssss.....

Anyway, while putting it up, mum was helping me level and measure the thing and lately I've been having issues with rage (ok, more like getting really pissed off really quickly when I get frustrated, I'm actually going to the doctors about this because this isn't usual for me, more on that another time), long story short I ended up calling my mum a 'stupid bint'. She actually finds it quite hilarious when I get so grumpy, so she just laughed it off and is now making fun of me for calling her a stupid bint. Stupid bint. :P

I am going to be photoshopping my head over this chick's head. STOP TOUCHING MAH MAN, BITCH!!!!! [/rage]

I loved last night's True Blood so much. ( Small spoiler for last night's eppy )

Because I totally shagged Chris Pine in my dream last night. And also had a ST dream where I was totally banging Kirk and Spock was totally jealous. \o/ Thank you brain, for giving me something to perv over while I sleep.

Today was the first sane day I had at work this week. I wanted to update sooner, but I was just so O.o.

I had a really nice day on Monday. Mum and I spent a good 4 hours at Ikea and looked at a lot of stuff we couldn't afford and don't need. I was able to get a blind for my room, a lamp for my night stand since the one I did have has gone missing or something and a couple of other things. I also was going to get this really nice bookcase, but when we got to the furniture pick up we realized that the box it was in was too large to fit in the car. We'll have to trade with my dad and take his mini van out there to get it. I can't remember the last time I've had a bookcase, I can't wait to get one.

After Ikea we went to see Up. I loved it, but I didn't cry. I know a lot of people said they cried a bit when they saw it, but not me. I don't know why. Anyway, I thought it was very well done and had Pixar's trademark charm. I still think that Nemo is my #1 Pixar/Disney movie with Wall-E and Ratatouille a close second.

Then mum and I came home and my dad came over and we had cake and presents. I got True Blood season one on Blu-ray, some cash, chocolate and gift certificates. After that gremmie_goo came over for a nice visit and cake and also gave me the cutest wallet that looks like my Tinkerbell

With the warmer weather, Tinker likes to drink outta the can. I guess because the water is colder than the one in their dishes.

I've got to measure my bedroom window, since mum and I are going to Ikea tomorrow I need to get some curtains up. I currently have pillows up against my windows when I need to have more darkness. I hope I can find something cute and not too pricey.

Yesterday I finally got all my clothes sorted and put away yesterday. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I'm happy it's done, and I certainly do not need anymore clothes. If I buy anything that I don't need immediately clothes wise then I ask you all to hit me over the head.

This is proof that my mum and I really have our priorities straight in life. This is what happened when she drove me to work this morning, we were behind an Old Dutch (the potato chip people) truck:

I got my birthday off! *dances* Granted I told a small lie I had a family thing to attend (shut up, my birthday is a family event LOL), BUT THE POINT IS I GOT IT OFF AND MUM AND I ARE GOING TO IKEA TO IKEA OURSELVES TO DEATH!!!! HAH! Ok, maybe not quite since gremmie_goo will be joining us later in the day and we will be seeing movies and eating dinner.

I also ordered my cake from Baskins & Robbin's yesterday, but I'm kinda disappointed with it. You see I saw this BAMF cake on ontd_startrek that came from B&R with the Enterprise on it, but I guess they don't have it here yet. The guy had no clue what I was talking about. So I got a kitty cake. Still cute, but not my number one choice.

I've gotten a sudden obsession with guacamole as of late. I love eating it and I want to make it. I was able to find Miss Daisy's FABULOUS COOKBOOK WITH MANY YUMMY RECIPES and I'm definitely going to have a shot at this.

Sunday my mum and I went bra shopping (for me, since my older bra's have seen better days) and I ended up getting a couple of t-shirts and some new pants. The store we went to had buy one get one half off ect. so I saved almost $93 on my whole purchase. Yay for saving money.

I'm very slowly starting to geek out my desk at work. Today I put up my I Believe in Harvey Dent button that I've had in my purse for awhile and it makes me happy. Now all I need is some LOTR, SPN, ST, DW and a whole crapload of other geekery and I'll be all set.

Fail Creation. Fail. I mean, I know that they do these events to make shit loads of money for fans, but this is getting ridiculous. I mean, I would love to visit the set, but for $350 US? No way, man. I can't afford that.

Today we moved offices and it went pretty well. We pretty much had everything done by 12:30 and our boss ordered everyone pizza as thanks for helping out. The new office is great, so much more room and I get a huuuuge desk now. I can decorate it anyway I want. :D I need some stuff to put on my wall and around my desk. The only downside is that we don't have a nice view anymore, but I think everything else about this place will make up for that.

It's been so warm out lately, which is both awesome and not. The weather is awesome, but I don't like the heat.

I've been toying with the idea of signing up for some Yoga classes. I've never done Yoga before, so of course it would have to be beginner. Anyway, have any of you done Yoga? If so how did/do you like it ect.? Is it worth the money/time?
